• Issuing soundness/ health and vaccination certificates to animals
• Providing expert opinion in vetero-legal cases
• Proposing acts, ordinances, laws and regulations for inspections, animal health, animal breeding, animals movements, export & import of animals and animal products
• Providing services to municipalities for ante-mortem and post-mortem examination of animals, slaughterhouse management and meat inspection
• Coordination with area development projects and NGOs
• Assistance to university students
• Special services in emergencies
